Gloomy

Between us, my friend and I got rid of a lot of books and other odds and ends to the Emmaus charity.  They are very choosy about what they accept these days and have reorganised all their facilities to make the best of what is for sale.

We met our other friend and had a natter over drinks and toasted teacakes before browsing the books.  I picked up a jigsaw and three books for £7, and now have a good selection of books to read over the next few months.

This is the only picture I’ve taken today and my flowers are past their best.

Well that’s January kicked into touch and the nights are drawing out nicely.  At least they would be if the weather wasn’t so rubbish.
