Light Globes in the Window

They remind me a bit of armaments used in the Star Wars movies. I thought they might  be left over Christmas decorations but I'm more inclined to think that they've been added to provide a bit of sparkle.

We went to Staunton Harold to fetch a couple of photos from the framers and while there, popped into the Stables café for a spot of lunch. Len enjoyed his pork burger. I wasn't so impressed  with my GF brie, cranberry sauce and bacon toastie but I was able to finish it in peace while Len took Basil down to the lake for a run.

Not a good day for Len really. Even though it was the same route we took yesterday to Calke Abbey, he couldn't remember it at all and had to be prompted endlessly.
