New shoots

January has finally come to a close after what has felt like a very long, cold and dark month. So it’s nice to see new shoots emerging with the optimism and promise of Spring around the corner.

It’s also helped by the beautiful Wren who joins me in the garden most mornings, singing his heart out in the willow tree with a volume that hardly seems possible given his size.

The Resident Robins don't seem quite as fond of him, but we have more than enough trees and hedges, so they will hopefully learn to share/ tolerate each other.
