France - Day 2

Le Jardin des Enfants in Troyes. Planted only with white flowers in the memory of orphaned children. Dates back to tbe middle ages. The architecture is one of tbe most amazing things about Troyes with many tudor style buildings surviving to this day. So many of them lean to one side or have upper floors that are far from level. I wonder if they have gone out of true with age or were built this way. Given that they didn't have spirit levels and drank beer in place of water I suspect it may be the latter.

Setting off for Vagnas tomorrow. A 6.5 hour drive. Going to be a long day
