Parkrun

I met Hannah by the entrance to Peel Park just before nine, so we could do Parkrun together. It was, as usual, a joy, running around for half an hour chatting and enjoying the spirit of camaraderie. 

And then later in the morning, the Minx and I went into Manchester to do some chores and so she could buy a new swimsuit for the spa day she's doing with the miniMinx on Monday. 

We had lunch in The Town Hall Tavern, which is a pub just off Deansgate. We weren't expecting anything special but the food was fantastic. I'd certainly recommend it. 

And then, later on, chores completed, including some new running shoes for me, we finished our afternoon in Courts Club, which I wasn't blown away by, but the Minx rather liked. And that was it!
