Saying Goodbye

Today was the end of a weeks holiday in the North East, before we left we said goodbye to the neighbours.

This was the first time I have had chance to have a good look at the North East, we have enjoyed the countryside, the castles and the beaches. Quiet roads, pleasant country pubs, good value car parking - we'll be back.

While we have been away some chinless wonder senior conservative peer has been slagging off the North East with his Nimby attitude about fracking for gas, it seems that he doesn't want it to happen in his back yard! I get home today and discover that he has admitted he doesn't know his East from his West and he actually meant the Fracking on the Fylde of Lancashire where I live. Time for someone to fall on his sword perhaps?
