Those trees...again

I know that I have photographed these trees many times before, and I actually had photographed something else in the morning to use for Blip but when I drove past these trees this afternoon with the lovely sunshine on those stark winter trees, I just knew I had to stop to take this photo. There is something about these trees that I really like. This area is also under threat from our new government's plan to provide more housing, using areas that are designated as green belt and grey belt, so not sure if this view will be here in 20 years time!

It was such a beautiful day today, cold but with sunshine and blue skies. After walking Xena in the woods today - and yay she did not get muddy - I went to the hairdresser. I wasn't due a cut but my hair was annoying me so she cut off a bit. This was followed by grocery shopping and another walk for Xena. 

Gavin leaves very early tomorrow morning to go skiing in Klosters with work colleagues. I decided not to go as I leave next Friday to go to Scotland and I did not want to be away two weekends in a row, and I am not that crazy about skiing.

Tomorrow I have a lovely day out in London with Meriel.
