The Night Sky

Woke early and went up to Allan Bank to view the clear starry sky.  It's just about a new moon so it was a magnificent sight looking north. You can't see anywhere near this many stars in our area of the Midlands.

After breakfast we walked into Ambleside under sunny skies.  We have really been lucky again with the weather, particularly after the storms and rain the area has experienced recently. 

You need to view large to see the stars at their best.
