High Rigg

Our original intention was to drive to Brotherswater and walk up to Hayeswater, but as we drove over, we passed from reasonably clear skies to thick cloud. A quick change of plans saw us return to near Thirlmere and walk High Rigg. We were treated to some great cloud formations and some bright (if not sunny) conditions.

Just as we got in the car at the end of the walk, it started raining - and came on quite heavily within a couple of minutes - fabulous timing!
