Great minds think alike...

...or in the case of me and bestie (and fellow crocheter) Agnes, fools seldom differ :-))

We were messaging back and forth today about our short break together next week, planning what shopping to take and possible places to visit etc, then she send me a photo (top pic) asking do you think I've bought enough yarn to take?  It made me laugh out loud.  I sent her the bottom pic with the message I'm not sure, but do you think I have?  :D

Bit of a busy day.  

Billy the Painter was here at 8.30am to start work on the team's kitchen.  By mid afternoon the woodwork was washed and prepared, the ceiling was painted and the walls had been turned from the blandest shade (think it was called Gentle Fawn) to Blood Orange!  He'll return tomorrow to paint the woodwork.

A guy from the pool maintenance company was also here fitting a new pump for the pool.  Poor Alan's not been able to get into the pool for a week and will now have to wait another week till we return from our wee break next week.  D acts as life guard (channeling Baywatch!  hahahaha) so sadly no hydrotherapy for Alan when we're not here.

Ele was here for lunch.  Probably our last chance to get together till after my surgery.  Had a lovely afternoon.  When Billy left we went through to see the new Blood Orange walls in the Team's kitchen an much to my relief, we both like the colour very much.  Vicky was on duty and she also likes it.  Phew!  There's one bit of wall that needs something to fill it, either plant shelves or some black and white photographs in black frames.  Will have a think about it.

Ele left and D returned from golf at Leven.  He also likes the colour.  He received a phone call about my wheels.  The problem is one of the batteries, it's basically dead.  Of course it's not possible to buy just one battery from the manufacturer, they come in pairs, so we will order direct  to the tune of almost £800!!! At least we will have a spare as the one that's still working will no doubt reach the end of its life soon! 

Chippy tea as neither of us could be bothered cooking.  Tesco order done, crochet stuff packed for holiday, feet up and some rubbish tv.
