New Light

In the theatre for tonight’s rehearsal, and I was surprised to see the lighting trusses in their lowered position with no lamps (other than the workers) on them. I’m assuming its to do either a rehang for an incoming show, or a regular clean/PAT testing session. But it does mean you can get a rare glimpse up the fly tower at the bars where scenery cloths can be hung.
I couldn’t manage this morning’s PT session but did feel strong enough by lunchtime to go out to the supermarket. And, after a restorative post prandial nap, I felt well enough to go to the rehearsal. After a slow start, it ended up being quite a good session and we got a lot of blocking done. Hopefully we can remember what was plotted when we run it all again tomorrow.
I think I’m definitely on the road to recovery but, worryingly, Mrs C said she wasn’t feeling too clever this evening. It may be my turn to play nursemaid now…
