Here comes the sun
I suspect a lot of people in the park today were feeling relieved to have a break from the gloomy weather. Like lots of others
my glass has been feeling half empty recently, I’m normally a half full sort of person . Maybe it’s the low levels of light , maybe it’s chemistry, I’ve certainly got plenty to be grateful for.
It was lovely to be in the sunshine , people were quick to smile at one another . The photo was taken to capture the bright sky and the reflections in the water . This is a perching spot for the kingfishers although none were hanging out here today . The river was fairly shallow , it’s how I like it because it means you see the shingle that makes up the river bed .It seems more friendly somehow, more approachable .
We expected to have Freya today but she has had D and V this week , all being well we will have her tomorrow and Friday. She was due to have her first sleepover with us at the weekend but we have postponed it. I suspect that she will be reluctant to leave her mummy.
Two things that are adding interest to our days , the music of Tom Rosenthal which we came across when we watched Perfect Pub walks with Bill Baileys, I’m listening to his beautiful melodic voice as I write [ Toms not Bills ) . And also an inspirational book about the Temperate Rainforests of the Uk . I will add a photo in my extras .
And how weird is this , as I’m preparing my blip two other blippers have mentioned it in their blips , synchronicity at work perhaps .
