Nature Diary. Defying the rain..

The bright morning looked hopeful and the little plant sitting out in the cold has continued to thrive, despite everything the recent bad weather has challenged it with.
So I meadered outside with my camera, and here is one of the photos I took of this pretty little plant early this morning.
Within an hour the sky had become a miserable grey colour, which gradually became darker, until a downpour of rain started. Hmm..
Now, mid afternoon, the rain is still lashing down and I'm wondering what this pretty little plant will look like tomorrow.
I'm very glad I chose the photograph it this morning, and I hope it continues to thrive in the same way it has for the past several weeks.
