Fieldfare

Another thrush today and not a brilliant composition but too bad. There were two fieldfares in my next door neighbour's walnut tree. It's a magnificent tree but today I could have done without its branches blocking the bird. And look at the blue sky. 

Off to pick the girls up from school later. I've said I'll wear the tartan dress I was meant to be sporting at the ceilidh (the one last weekend which was a washout for us). The nine year old had a new tartan skirt for the school Burns event last Friday. It was also a washout because school was closed against the storm. We can compare sartorial style.
