Lots of apples

We had good food to go out from fareshare this morning - lots of apples (a metric tonne - this is some of them), plenty of vegetables and also different kinds of meat, which is good protein if you eat it. One or two of the apples have gone bad, which you will see if you have good eyesight. This isn’t the best way to pack them. But surprisingly, it’s only a few, and they can be carefully removed before they pass on the rottenness.
And I had a good morning - after making a stupid mistake last week I devised a better, more watertight system of organising the paperwork for the pickers, which worked well.
I had a nice afternoon having two long phone calls with my two oldest friends - unusual for me, I’m not fond of chatting on the phone, but sometimes there’s a lot to catch up on.
In the early evening I started a 500 piece jigsaw - and - I just couldn’t stop  - at just before 1am I’d finished it.  It was sent to me by my friends in Orkney: it’s of the collection of feminist badges at the Glasgow Women’s Library. I can’t possibly show it here because there’s too many rude words:-) In case you think that’s impressive, it was the easiest puzzle I’ve ever done, as each badge has words on it, and they are all different colours, it’s simple to match up the pieces.
