Microscope

Went to some charity shops today looking for a theme for a hat and found this for £2.50. Label said a toy, well it was but I should think when it was bought a fairly pricy one, it has filters for back lighting, a 10 x eye lens and 3 object lenses, it can magnify up to 900 X the stand is metal. When I got it home the problem was corroded batteries still in the base . However the back light works but the backlight support is broken.
So a little project for me :-). At that price it may even end up on a hat !! :-)
