Somewhere…..

Yet another day of heavy rain and strong, cold winds. We managed to find a dry, sunny interval for a walk so that Tess could change some jeans that she wasn’t happy with the fit of before the fain set in again.

One heavy downpour was followed by this rainbow, which at least provided the day’s blip.

In more exciting news, I ordered our Japan Rail Passes for our upcoming trip, although this did require a long phone call when the website crashed in the middle of placing the order online.

It turned out that the company’s British office was in Beckenham, just around the corner from where Tess used to live and the church we got married in, so we had a pleasant chat about the area with the helpful assistant while she was sorting our order out.
