Back to Work

I had big plans for today. Gym, dog walking, food shopping, catching up on a bit of TV, starting my award winning novel.
But Mr C called at 9.40am to ask if I could cover the shop today. So by five past ten I was sat at work. Not the day I’d planned.
It was pretty quiet but I did sell this little haul to a man who charged in, charged out the back, came charging back with the tin trunk, dropped it on the desk in front of me and said “I want that delivering”
What a charmer!!!
And when I asked for his details he said “you’ve got it all in there” wafting his arm towards the desk.
We’re not chuffing John Lewis!
I said I’d drop it round after work but I needed his address which he eventually gave me. First name only!
Then he said there were a few more bits and went to get loads more.
Such a random mix!
He paid and then charged out again.
Mr K picked me up, we went to the post office for me to drop off my eBay parcels and then went to deliver the stuff. The house was in darkness and he opened the door covered in paint. Another perfectly normal customer!!!!
