Time...

The day started with drama... I had a call from Zeph's line manager at work to say that he had not turned up, or called in sick and they were concerned. So we got up and headed off to his flat. We couldn't get an answer, and I was getting worried until one of the neighbours said he'd left a few minutes before we arrived. Phew! We met him heading home again: he'd overslept, and has a cold! 

I had not had the best nights sleep, having been kept awake by Brian snoring and Minstrel sleeping next to me on the edge of the bed, making me wary of kicking him off accidentally.

Between the dramatic start to the day and being tired, I've felt on edge and unsettled all day.

We went to Morrisons for shopping and later I cleaned the kitchen whilst Brian hoovered. We did laundry too.

The couple of photos I'd taken earlier were not great so I took a quick shot of this rocking chair egg timer Brian brought from his Mum's flat when they cleared it out.
