Backblip, Sunday due to power cut


Woke up to no power again.  The house was freezing and there had been an overnight frost.  After defrosting the car I went to Carlisle and had a large coffee and scone in Dunelm.   Had a wander around the shop afterwards and then went to visit a friend who very kindly let me charge my phone.  Had a cuppa and chat and she loaned me a flask with hot water before I left.

Shortly after I lit the candles this evening the power came on at 6pm, woo hoo!  I was so relieved and very happy.  We were without power for 2 1/2 days!   Oh to be able to boil the kettle and have a hot cuppa was bliss and to have the heating back on.  I do feel for the people who are still without power.
