Nicky and her Nikon

Sunny daffodils

What wild weather we had today. After breakfast we had fierce winds and lashing rain, I thought the windows would break! Then 15 minutes later it was dry and sunny again - my cue to quickly take Xena out for her walk. We managed to stay dry on the walk although she did get very muddy.

This pattern of rain continued throughout the day. I had physio on my wrist today, I could have walked to the physio from home as its only down the road,  but expecting the rain to come lashing down again I drove the short distance. The physio used ultrasound and laser to try to speed up the healing and I have to wear a wrist brace to protect it.

I took some photos of my hellebores in the garden but they are so mud splattered after the hard rain that they looked terrible, so these daffodils in sunshine was the better option.

Tonight I have a zoom camera club meeting, it's a lecture by Robert Harvey on landscape photography which I am really looking forward to.
