The Powder Free, Thin Blue Glove of Inevitability
If the CID had been called during our morning Scottish Country Dancing class, then it would have been case-closed within seconds. The simple, yet hypnotic, Strathspey ‘The Belle of Bon Accord’ had John Drewry’s fingerprints all over it. The news that some folk don’t want to hear is that we are building up to Entente Florale. CMC’s favourite was Ian Powrie’s Farewell to Auchterarder. Post dancing I had some light banter in the café with Iain McFedries who I hadn’t seen for a good while. Once back at HQ I booked a dancing weekend in Newtonmore and a stay near Portsoy for CMC. I may accompany her. I’m not sure what on. Potentially the linoleum.
Dick Clement and Ian La Frenais are both 87.
One extra has been specifically added for Blipper ‘Trafficnotes’. The two vehicles indicate today’s peak flow on the A964.
