Didn't Ewe Do Well!

We must have attended the Kintyre Agricultural Show for at least the last 8 years. During this time we have learned much about the farming community and the great pride they take in the animals they rear.

As our farmer friends mostly produce beef cattle we have come to recognise the merits of a straight back, long body and good muscular tone if a beast is to be crowned champion in its class. Most of our time was spent watching the beef cattle competition and it was fascinating to observe the the various nuances that sway the verdict of the judge. Glad to say our farmer friend won overall champion with a very fine animal, which I am sure will go on to win many more shows.

However, I am not so sure he will appreciate the blip I have selected, which is is of prize winning sheep - an animal somewhat derided by champion cattle breeders!
