Sgwarnog: In the Field

Baroque

The Commercial Inn looks like it’s been spruced up. It has a facade (“eccentric neo-Baroque”, apparently) unlike anything else in the city and so adds to the variety of Bradford’s streetscape. I’ve never been in though, so can’t vouch for its wares.

I stopped in town for an hour or so en route to see Bradford City Women in a (fifth tier) league fixture against Sunderland West End at Horsfall Stadium (extra). It was a rainy afternoon, so conditions were tricky, but City put in a dominant performance for a 5-1 win.
