Night photography
I registered for a night photography walk, and paid more for it than I did the Portrait Photography workshop. I learned a lot more in the portrait workshop than I did on the night photography walk. There were 3 of us plus the leader. Most of the time the leader was not even walking with us, she was doing her own thing. Fred and I helped the third participant with her camera, she is very new to photography.
We had a few snow flurries late this afternoon, so even though the sidewalks had salt on them, there were places that were slippery. Some of the streets where we were are steep as they go down towards the harbor.
The photo tonight is the central library. I think the building is about 10 years old. The architecture was a bit controversial at the time, it didn't quite fit with the area and some people didn't think a new library was needed. I have never been inside it myself, that will be another time. I will have to check some of the events that are held there.
Brunch went well today. One of the members celebrated his 81st birthday today, not that you would know that he is 81 if you met him. We had a cake for him and everyone sang 'Happy Birthday'.
