Abandoned Sledge

Well I managed to stay awake for the whole of the 4 hour Lord Of The Rings film last night (it didn’t finish until 10:45) - it was OK, but about 2 hours too long! I did need a ‘comfort break’ mid way through - and it seems that just about everyone in the cinema got up and went out at some point!! Must be a case for bringing back the ‘intermission’!!

Had a little trip out to the supermarket today - catching the bus rather than walking though. Dismayed to see that, following an incident in which a driver was stabbed, the new electric buses have now been fitted with ‘bandit screens’ to protect the drivers. Sad days.

Spotted this abandoned sledge whilst walking along a lane. It is about two miles from the village, so presumably someone didn’t want to lug it home! It is a shame as it looks like a fab DIY job.
