Purple Primulas

Spotted some nice bright primula flowers whilst out for a walk this morning..they are in one of the community flower beds…

There were yellow, white, red/white and these fabulous purple ones with yellow centres!

Lots of bulb shoots pushing through too..so I guess crocuses and daffodils may not be far behind :-)

We were ‘invaded’ by a flock of long tail tits (about a dozen) at lunchtime and I managed to grab a shot of three of them on a nut feeder - see extra.

This afternoon we had a trip out to a charity shop and to the tip recycling centre with a car load of stuff. We took the opportunity to tag on a 2 mile walk while we were out. Of course we then needed a trip into Tadcaster for a cup of tea and cake.

Walked 5 miles (boots on) today and I am up to 15K steps so far!
