Saturday: Curry

I appreciate that, until now, you have only had my word for it that my cookery skills are (very) slowly improving.  So today I present you with the tofu curry I made.  It was ok bit I think the curry flavour needs to be stronger.  No real reason for cooking a vegan dish other than that I am trying recipes that catch my eye and, as K’s brother is vegan, it does no harm to increase our repertoire.

On another note, a friend of mine in the US who works for the government on aid programming has had her impending new job put on hold and, as she says, it’s now unlikely to materialize, meaning it’s unlikely she will be able to continue to work in the aid sector.  In her words, the nightmare has begun and it’s closer to home than you think.
