Thursday: Restroom

It’s slightly disconcerting to have restroom signs in your own house.  We have six toilettes…..two of which are public, hence the signage. 

Being away is always great but everytime I come back there’s something unpleasant to sort out, mainly caused by two individuals who like to make trouble as soon as I’m away. It’s so wearing but we won’t be put off booking getaways.  

On a lighter note, we brought back some manchego cheese for my US colleague, Michelle.  I tried to drop it off at her house tonight but first had to take it to the Embassy security guards who swabbed it, scanned it, and then x-rayed it.  It also made me realise my colleagues would let me eat any old cyanide-laced delivery.  I need to have words…
