Sidmouth Clock Tower

It’s been a cold day but with a weak sun showing at times. We decided to visit Sidmouth for a change. We arrived late morning and headed for Connaught Gardens. The light looking out over the sea was rather lovely with an opalescent quality. I took today’s blip from here of the Clock Tower. 

A few Hellebores and one or two Camelias were in flower in the gardens but not much else. We then walked back down along the beach and along the Byes. A nice little stroll and then lunch in town. 

Back home l popped down to the allotment for some more weeding. It’s slowly getting done as long as things don’t start growing back to quickly.
