Garden inspection
I popped over to our 'front' (shared) garden at lunchtime to look for storm damage. There was very little, apart from a few stray twigs on the lawn. They are just visible in front of the tree in my blip.
I also spent some time in our own garden (at the back of our flat) this afternoon. I wanted to take advantage of the storm having made neat piles of leaves about the place. I lifted them straight into the compost bin before they had a chance to disperse again. I also righted our bird table.
Other than the above, I have spent the day indoors, still in catch-up mode. I have also been in touch with quite a few folk to discuss the impact of storm Éowyn elsewhere. The headlines are that it took down a tree not far from my not-so-little sister's flat, and the family house on Holy Island has lost some roof tiles.
Now that series 3 of The traitors UK is finished, I would like to make a start on the next US series. I hope that Mr hazelh is up for this too. I think that there may be some negotiation over television viewing this evening...
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike.
