Hamburg Photo Weekend - Day 1 - Brahms Kontor
At a quarter past eight in the morning, I was picked up by Herman to start our photography weekend in Hamburg. We drove to Delfzijl to get Ton as well and then we were on our way! After a stop somewhere between Bremen and Hamburg, we arrived at our first location: the Brahms Kontor building. We were kindly allowed access and permission to photograph the spiralling staircase in the building.
The staircase is interesting both looking up and looking down and we spent around an hour finding and shooting different compositions. After some tea and sandwiches at a nearby shop we drove to the hotel. Well, that was the intention anyway... Because of road works, we had quite a bit of trouble getting there but we managed in the end.
We then walked to the Central Station where we did some more photography and we had dinner there as well. Then it was time for some photo editing back at the hotel. The fun will continue tomorrow!
