Sunshine and Storm

Storm Eowyn blew through overnight and blew on into the day.  Although we missed the very worst of it, the wind at midday was still fierce and the sea was wild when I walked Meg down in the chilly sunshine.   The sunshine nudged some of the crocuses into opening a little.  Brought into the porch these Crocus gargaricus quickly opened wide.

While I was out, I delivered a pottery tea light house to a friend who had requested one and stopped for a chat.  Warm in her conservatory.   At home most of the day, I have fettled pottery I started last night and begun a couple more pieces, one a simple slab dish with a lace pattern imprint, the other a more complicated hand build.   I have also done a little admin and sorted a few things achieving a little upturn on the tidiness front.   Nice gentle day .... stormy winds apart!
