Funny old day

What a day.

Got punched and kicked repeatedly by a child in crisis first thing in the morning.  I’ve seen and dealt with him before when he was dis-regulated, but nothing like the level of violence I received and witnessed this morning.  Very sad.

Got home to The Hound being sick and crying.  Ended up in the Out Of Hours vets which was about half an hours drive from home.  One of her stones had got wedged and was blocking her bladder.  The vet said she had about 500ml of wee in her bladder and had seepage in her cavity and her kidneys were not looking good either.  An operation to push the stone back into her bladder was successful (phew) and she was allowed back home. Finally at 1.10am we managed to all snuggle down to sleep.

Vets again in the morning.
