‘Marble’ Runs….

…..or tennis balls in this case.

Forest School Nurture session this pm - the best afternoon of the week by far.  We had the mud kitchen out, a rope swing, made hoop objects with willow cut from the school willow tunnel and generally played in the woods.  Fabulous stuff!  All the children in the group had had really tricky mornings, but thrived during the afternoon.  The power of being out in nature is amazing.  Blip is one lad’s marble run that he spent over an hour of concentrated work on!

The Dopski has been having some friend troubles (teenage girls are the absolute worst for inflicting extreme hurt, anxiety and misery) but seems to have come through the worst of it now - fingers crossed.  The ‘friends’ lost in the process were not worthy of her friendship by any stretch of the imagination, but she had to come to that conclusion herself and found it very hard.  However, after last nights messaging and shenanigans, she woke up this morning and said she felt ‘free as a bird’ as all her anxiety had gone.
