WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Celebration of Life

It was my sister-in-law’s funeral today.
Winnie aged 71, died on New Year’s Eve after having COPD for many years.
It was a lovely service at Preston Crematorium.
Frank had written a eulogy and got a bit emotional at the end of his reading. Winnie was a kind, warm hearted woman who adored her kids and grandkids and worked and played hard all her life.
It was nice afterwards at the do to chat to family we hadn’t seen in a while. The lunch was traditional Lancashire fare - meat and potato pie, mushy peas and beetroot but the chef had made a nice vegan pie for us and gave us the rest to take home.
It was very windy on the way to Preston and there was one tree down which required a diversion by the police but on the way home the wind had dropped.
I hope none of you Blippers had any damage from Eowyn.
Goodnight ;-) X
