Reading

Henry slept through last night but that meant that both of us were up at 5am. I finally got round to something I've meant to do for ages - taking the side off his cot bed, with Henry's help of course. He collected up the spare screws and poked them into the unused holes in the cot bed, and thought it was a wonderful game.

After that he lined up his toys (Nemo, big bird, small, raa raa and Elmo - he always puts them in height order!) and read them a story. I took the opportunity to wash my face and by the time I got back he had taken the glasses off mr potato head and was wearing them - I hadn't had a chance to put my contact lenses in yet so think he was trying to copy me with my glasses! He finally settled down for a 3hr nap but annoyingly I couldn't sleep.

This afternoon we did a few errands and went to the library to get some more books. I wonder how Henry will sleep tonight in his grown up bed? It will be going to Neil's flat in a few weeks and I was going to get a toddler bed for here so I wanted to give him some time to get used to it.
