More Shuttle Than Ferry

Racking up 45,000 miles a year whilst completing 4,000 crossings between Southampton and East Cowed she is more of a shuttle than a ferry.
Red Falcon was the first of three Raptor Class Ro-Pax ferries to join the Red Funnel fleet and has the capacity for 892 passengers and 220 cars on three deck levels.
Alongside the docks undergoing maintenance she is holding up Epic’s GRP gig Britannia’s move into A&P for a ‘gratis’ overhaul and repaint.
We will get there in the end.

Paddy and I enjoyed a longer walk, bit chilly but dry for the most part, best of all I get to have what my mother in law used to call “illegals” for dinner, bangers and cheesy mash tonight.
