The Way Home
We've had some weather today! I was doing some exercise on the rowing machine at home this morning when the heavens opened and a hailstorm started. The thunder rolled and the lightning flashed and the all the smoke alarms went off. I've no idea why unless it's something to do withe the power supply. 100 miles to the west of us Newquay in Cornwall suffered a typhoon which took the roofs off quite a few houses and I guess it's the same wether system coming through. It's not Storm Éowyn yet, that's not going to be with us until later tonight but it's certainly going to be a day for picnics tomorrow.
Fortunately, this evenings weather was dry as I walked down to the village to the pub for our jam night. It was still dry as I came home and I took this with my phone as I headed up the hill.
