I tried my new shoes round the Links again with JR’s thick socks from Uniqlo. Unsuccessful! I was crippled by half way round, and had to hobble home and put on my comfy old shoes. Though, as we speak, I’m wearing them in the house and they’re OK.

Popped to the doctor to get my new pills, which are actually, as I thought, old pills which I tried years ago. But let’s give ‘em a go…

After enjoying ‘Maria’ so much the other day, we reminisced about when we went to the opera in Verona… we loved it! And so we had a wee browse on the internet… and wouldn’t you know… there was a JET2 holiday, direct flight, same wonderful hotel as last time… very tempting!

We left it a day, checked to see if Hazel wanted to come, but the dates don’t suit her. So we booked! Verona here we come! This summer is going to be busy.

Meanwhile we have to get through the BIG STORM that’s coming tomorrow! We even had a very loud Government alert on all phones!! (Didn’t know they could do that!) We’ve been out and removed the shed roof, because during the last storm it was whipped off and smashed into our back door, which is half glass. All schools and gyms are closed tomorrow.
