Still Christmas in Loughborough Market
Quite a productive day. In view of the impending arrival of Storm Éowyn, we decided to go to Loughborough market today to buy our fish. Just as well as both Louis and Perry told us they wouldn't be in Shepshed tomorrow.
It gave me the opportunity to buy my favourite face creams from Boots which is right behind the fish stall. We were also able to pick up some greengrocery.
Our first attempt to get Len's credit card PIN activated was aborted but he finally succeeded when he went to Sainsbury's and got someone there to help him. Then he misplaced his wallet which involved him going back to Sainsbury's for him only to spot it on the cupboard where he'd left it once he came back to the Baobab Café where we'd gone for coffee and omelette.
Moving on from there, we went into one of the two phone shops on Market Street where the shop assistant maintained that he'd removed the duff apps from Len's phone. I have yet to ask if that worked.
As you can see from the photo, the council still hasn't removed the Christmas decorations from the market.
