Plaça de Catalunya

Arrived in Barcelona this afternoon and did a self guided speedy orientation walk of the centre.
I’m staying in an interesting hostel in the Gothic quarter near the Cathedral, not the Sagrada Familia. It’s clean, warm and has communal kitchens on each floor which I am about to use.
Wonderful to be able to walk about with just a couple of layers. It’s only 16 degrees but feels very balmy in comparison to home.
