A bit warmer...
Seems we are out of the cold snap, 8°C is positively tropical
Another walk today at the local park. But this time I went to my usual entrance. No big monsters moving tree trunks today, but the local mairie workers were trying to tackle the many potholes along the track leading to the park.
Sadly I think in a few short weeks their repairs will be undone. It is a regular cycle. They repair them by compacting gravel into the hole, then somehow the pot hole forms again, or a new one forms.
As it is I have to slalom along the track.
I had to stop to wait while one of the workers moved out of the way, we exchanged brief waves. He looked miserable. Don't blame him.
So here is a photo of our local church, Saint Rémi. The view is from behind it from the park side, with in the foreground, a trails field which is part of the local horse stables. It is actually next door to the church.
It is only possible to take this photo during the Winter months, as the rest of the year the view is hidden by leaves on the trees and bushes.
