Pintail

A visit to our bird reserve this morning.
Thought we ought to go today as we are threatened with a major storm for tomorrow.
This is evidence that we are second rate birders. One of my village friends who is a first rate bird watcher has taken himself off to the Isle of Anglesy for the weekend. There the storm is likely to be even worse than here. So he hopes that those powerful winds will blow some American birds across the Atlantic. I hope he is lucky to see some.

We will be tying down the wheelie bins and staying indoors tomorrow, no doubt watching videos about the squirming Republican  reactions to their leaders decision to pardon violent, self confessed criminals.
