Anniversary

August 1st - Mrs H and I's wedding anniversary (4th one this year). We had our honeymoon in Whitby, and although I was at the start of a horrendous bout of ill-health that lasted months, we had a great time and fell in love with the place (not each other, that was already in place).

We have been back there a few times since, and this year we went out to eat at the place where we stayed: the Moon and Sixpence on the quayside. The food is divine and this year the girls shared in the experience (including chocolate brownie desserts!).

After dinner, we took a stroll onto the beach as it was also our last night of the holiday and the girls wanted a final paddle. Our timing was fortunate as the sun was just setting as we stepped onto the sand. I dialled in the settings to the camera, gave it to Jnr Snr with the briefest instructions on the composition I was after, grabbed Mrs H and ..... SNAP....she got this beauty of a memory.

She did it so well that I have not even tweaked any controls in Lightroom - this is directly out of the camera.
