Polar Vortex

Having lived many years in Massachusetts, where the winters are very cold, then in Arizona, where the summers are very hot, we moved to N Carolina in search of a "middle ground".  The plan has been reasonably successful, but the 3" of snow last night doesn't quite fit the parameters.  Lola, who is an Arizona dog, is also less than impressed.  Thank you Polar Vortex.
