They just rolled K into surgery about 15 min ago. The plan is for a number of related procedures which will be like re-building her left foot. Here’s hoping, once the lengthy recovery is behind her, that she’s free from the continual pain of the last couple of years.
It’s mostly reassuring to see surgeons autograph the limb they intend to work on. It’s a pity they only got there after a number of incidents where docs amputated the wrong leg.
