4000!
Tuesday
Trying to think of something to use for my 4000th blip, my shell collection came to my rescue again -it’s nice to think back to warm sunny vacations during this frigid weather we are experiencing. Today was a high of 10 F
( -12 C) and tonight we drop down to -3 F ( - 19 C) ! We’ll get above freezing again by Saturday!
I’m so thankful to have stumbled across this wonderful site all those years ago- longer than it may seem from the number, since there have been many gaps along the way. I’m thankful for all the memories it’s preserved, the people I’ve “met “ along the way, the things I’ve learned from fellow blippers, the glimpses it provides into life in other countries, and the link it provides me to my motherland. Thankful especially for the great team that keep Blipfoto running day after day, and of course those that follow my somewhat erratic blipping, and anyone who drops by with a star or a comment. All are much appreciated.
Although bitterly cold, it was a beautiful blue sky sunny day. We drove downtown for Music Live at Lunch at Christ Church Cathedral, featuring a guitar and cello duo today, playing their own compositions. The blend of instruments and their music was beautiful and soothing. Roger spent the afternoon bundled up warm, in the garage, putting a new battery in the Accura. He knew it may be getting to the end of its life, and at the end of the month we are going up to visit with Laura and Liam in Wisconsin, where it’s likely to be colder than here, and the car will be outside at night.
