A Day on Harris
Today we drove south along the east coast of Lewis, down into and all around Harris. The landscape became more dramatic, enhanced by the mist and occasional rain but no less beautiful. Some parts seemed nearly lunar (except for the moss) and when we came to the end if the road, there was no doubt why it was the end.
For those of you who like urban decay, this island can offer decay, gothic-style - houses without roofs, cars and buses abandoned, never to move again. I won't mention what I found in the building next to this telephone box. Some of you may be having breakfast.
Thank you kindly for your lovely comments and stars since this holiday began.
