My mum on her 83rd birthday
Its 14 years to the day that my mum died. I miss her every day but am almost at peace with losing her now. I talked to my son briefly and we agreed that it felt like both a short and a long time ago.
I had quite a busy day. a video meet up with my old work team, which was lovely. A trip to the chiropodist, then the GP. I got the results of the various scans I had last week. I don't have anything seriously wrong - I'm lucky - but I need to make some drastic changes and take more care.
In the evening I saw A Complete Unknown, a film which seems to be controversial like Bob Dylan himself. I thought Timothy Chalamet was superb, as was Edward Norton as Pete Seeger. Filled with songs from 1961 to 65 - TC sings, plays guitar and harmonica most convincingly. BD really was a genius _ but a bit of an a**ehole too.
